Week 4 of The Carousel
For the 4th week of the carousel we had Photography Media with Steve. We focused on the different camera shutter speeds and aperture. We learnt that you can change the camera to have a fast or slow shutter speed, which will effect the outcome of your photograph. The faster the shutter speed the more focused the photograph will be, and the slower the shutter speed the more blurry or cloudy the photograph will be. We also learnt the basics of changing the aperture and what effect it will have on your photographs. The aperture basically effects how much light is being allowed to travel through the lens, therefore if the aperture is small then what you're taking a picture of will be sharp in the part that it's focused on. If the aperture is large then all of the photograph will have the same sharpness and focus.
